    Hi @dadams76

We’re checking on your main sitemap index (https://inspiredkids.org/sitemap_index.xml) and we do see that there aren’t any valid URLs being listed for your e-landing-page and ocean_library sub-sitemaps. If these don’t have any valid pages, we recommend that you set them not to show in the search results so they are removed from the sitemap. You can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-customize-the-sitemap-index/

Then you can remove and resubmit the sitemap accordingly – https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/#google-remove

Thank you for your help Michael,
I think I did everything right. I deleted the site map on Google and Bing. I will find out if I did everything right when Google crawls again. I’ll let you know when I find out.

    Thank you again,
    Dave

    Michael,
I I don’t have any errors on the new site map I submitted on Google. I still have those two errors on the URLs that were noindex from the old site map. Will they disappear in time and will that hurt my ranking?

@dadams76 Thanks for confirming that you don’t have any errors on the resubmitted sitemaps.

If you are still seeing errors on two URLs that were contained within the previous sitemap, but they aren’t part of the resubmitted sitemap, they should be removed in time, and no, they shouldn’t adversely affect your ranking.
