Errors reported in Google Search Console

  • Hello,

    I am using the ‘My Calendar’ plugin on the sidebar of this website for over 3 months.

    I am seeing the following errors in Google Search Console since November 29, 2019. Prior to this date, I did not see these errors in Search Console.

    Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 10 Events issues:

    Missing field “location”

    What I see in your sidebar is the Upcoming Events list, which doesn’t have any rich markup for Events, and shouldn’t be getting flagged by Google for anything, as it doesn’t use that formatting. Did you have some other version of the calendar on your site at some point?

    No, I did not. I updated the ‘My Calendar’ plugin to version 3.1.17 in late November. I am seeing the error messages in ‘Search Console’ since then.

    I am happy to send screen shots of ‘My Calendar’ settings if I can have an address to send it to.

    I look forward to your guidance in resolving this error.

    I’m having the same issue from Search with my website arcadia888.com in all of my web pages.

    Missing field “location”

    Invalid value type for field “hcalendar#dtstart”

    Can you help please as I think my google score is penalized.
