Makes me realise the worth of staging plugin updates! Luckily, i’m still in development mode.

Yep, this is a test envirement for me too, luckily not the live version! pffffffff

Please try to use with Elementor -> Tools and Regenerate CSS.

Let me know if it’s fix your issue.

    Hello there,

    It didn’t work for me.

    Hello Yakir,

Tried that but to no avail:
    https://logologics.nl/bbq/

I use OceanWP version 1.5.8. and worked fine untill I update Elementor.
However if I switch to twenty seventeen it works again so….
I contacted the developer of OceanWP also about this.

@magellan, what theme are you using please?

    Hello LogoLogics,

I really doubt this is theme related issue since others have had problems with this particular update. ?? I’ll patiently wait until a fix is created and downgrade if necessary.

    Hello Megallan,

I am not sure eather, but thing is that:

    – if I switch to twenty seventeen theme site is back on
    – if I have OceanWP active sites goes blanc
    – If I have OceanWP but Elementor off, site is back

Looks like this combo has issues.

Did you try switching to another theme to see if issue is gone?

This is not necessary and may be quite time consuming. Also, If find something, it would probably only be temporary since the issue is caused by the plugin itself. I don’t mind investigating on things I have control on, but otherwise, I address the problem to the one concerned and wait for a fix to come since the community can benefit from this.

    I understand.
I am testing and found out it is not happening in all sites ( even with most recent OceanWP + Elementor ) and even the shop in test that went blanc is now up again.

There where already new updates pushed for Ocean wp and Ocean Extra, so far it looks like its fixed, but still investigating here.

Still not working after today’s update fixing some issues…

    :/

    Thread Starter Magellan456

    (@magellan456)

It now DOES WORK but with a workaround. Since a proposition was to recreate the CSS files on the broken version, doing so did recreate de CSS files, making them still unusable after today’s update. Only a backup rollback have sold this issue.

A lack of transparency seeing that the developer addressed himself on other bugs makes me feel unsupported which is quite unprofessional and sadly create a negative opinion about acquiring the professional version- or even continuing with the free one.

I’ll come back here to see other’s experiences to see if this is a regular behavior.

I’ve been having a similar problem since the last update…and my site is currently live, so any help appreciated!!
Since updating the elementor plugin and elementor header and footer this morning I’ve lost the images from my footer and homepage, and a large amount of the page structure. other pages don’t seem to be effected.
Have uninstalled the new updates, but this hasn’t helped.
Has anyone found a solution yet?

    Thanks

    Hello Ellaplayfair,

You should create a new thread for your situation and explain what you have and you’ve done until now.

For mine, I updated elementor yesterday and got CSS errors on my main page. I was suggested to recreate my CSS files from within the plugin, but the problem was still there. I saw there was a new update this morning and installed it, but my problem was still there. The CSS files I had recreated were now broken. To see if the update from this morning had fixed this issue, I had to use a backup from two days ago and install the newest elementor update. After this, everything was back to normal.

    Good luck
