Errors with admin bar changes. Website blocked

    Hi

    First I think this is a potentially great plugin, thank you for developing it

    However I am having a problem when I try to make and save changes to the admin bar menu. I want to hide the ‘New+’ dropdown menu. To do this I click on ‘remove’, which makes it disappear from the list in the display area, and then click ‘save’.

    At this point I get taken to the login page of the front-end of my website with an error 404 in the breadcrumbs bar and it says in the main page: ‘Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help’. Then I try to access the site and can’t connect. I asked my host about this and they said:

    ‘It looks like something on your site triggered a security rule in the firewall when it was accessed by your computer and blocked your computer from making further connections to the server.’

    Do you know why this would be happening and can it be fixed?

    Just to add, I’ve had the site unblocked and its not now being blocked when I try to save the changes mentioned above. However the error 404 is still happening, as is the message: ‘Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help’

    But sorry, I don’t know.

    I anxious,

    • Error settings is only Admin Bar settings?(Is there other settings error?)
    • Do you have error when other all plugins temporary stop?
    • Do you have error when change the default theme(Twenty Fifteen, Fourteen, etc…)?
    • Do you have error when temporary stop the security software of your PC/tablet?

    Could you please try it more?

    And,
    Do you have develop environment?
    If you have case, could you please provide me the administrator account information and FTP information of your server?

    Hi, thanks for your help but I didn’t have the time to test it and I’ve found another solution.
