Errpr Deprecated: Return type of Pimple\Container

This is due to library that we use to support PHP 5.6. However we are planning to drop it soon which will fix this issue. You can read the official blog post here: https://publishpress.com/blog/publishpress-news/php-5-6/

I am needing to do some debugging for other plugins, so have the logs being generated.

This plugin is absolutely hammering the log with entries which is making it very difficult for me to find the real errors I need.

For example, it has generated over 70K entries in my log over the last week for these deprecation messages.

Are there any indications of when you will be updating to remove these entirely. Your post linked above indicated from March 2023 so wondering how far along you are here ? I would be happy to manually make whatever change is necessary in the plugin code to remove them (even if that would be overwritten with later plugin updates)

Sorry, it’s not as easy as it looks from the outside. We rebuilding how we store libraries such as Pimple, so that the plugin is more friendly to tools such as Composer, Docker, and Bedrock. We hope to complete this for all our plugins by the end of August.

+1 for PHP 8.2 support.

Googling the deprecation warnings for PublishPress Future brought me here.
