    Hi,

    After a user submits the form. A message pops up at the top with a green background saying that the form was submitted successfully. So that’s great.

    But

    At the same time the user gets a field error in one of the fields below (Unterkunft). A lot of users get confused and send the form again and again.

    Do you have an explanation for that behavior? As the form gets submitted correctly.

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for contacting us!

    This is, unfortunately, a bug in the plugin related to checkbox fields. It’s already known to our Forminator Team and developers will be releasing fix for this but I don’t have ETA, I’m afraid.

    Possible workarounds for this for now are:

    1. setting form behavior to only show a message after submission and hide the form itself

    2. or setting one of the checkbox option as default

    3. or switching form submission method (a “Method” option right below “After Submission” settings in “Behavior” options of the form) from “Ajax” to “Page Reload”.

    The 3rd way would be the best, I believe, but I’m not sure how will it work with your form since the form is inside some 3rd-party popup so you’d need to test it.
