Here’s the github repo : https://github.com/enguerranws/import-youtube-videos-as-wp-posts, I just updated it to last version (way faster than SVN), which fixes the issue you pointed.

Feel free to open (technical) issues there, submit PR, fork, contribute ??

However, you can update to v2.0, it’s fixed.
