Escape characters not working

    Hi!

    I love this plugin, but I never could use the tradional brazilian date format because it escapes characters incorrectly when edited on the events calendar configurations, such as “Date with year”, “date without year” and so on.

    The format should be something like this: “j \d\e F \d\e Y”, which would output “21 de Outubro de 2014” (21 of October of 2014).

    However, it outputs “21 \21\UTC outubro \21\UTC 2014”. The escaped characters are displayed as date output, and not actually escaped.

    I’ve tested without any other plugins activated and with many versions, but it never worked. What could it be? Is there any workaround?

    Hi gugtavas,

    Our dev looked into this and found the issue- our system is saving the date formats in the database with double slashes (so instead of \d it’s \\d). Please try using this snippet and let me know if that works. I’ve also ticketed this issue to be fixed in a future build.
