The plugin appears to have added escape characters to the link that I added under the countdown widget, so the link doesn’t work.

I went to modify the link and discovered that the Rockstar features are missing. I see the checkbox:

T(-) Countdown makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside… in a good way!

    or

T(-) Countdown helped organize my life in one of the small ways that matter!

    or

T(-) Countdown rocked my world and is totally worth 3 bucks!

…but nothing happens when I click it.

I deactivated the plugin, then reactivated and tried adding a new widget, with the same result.

This post is related but checking that box doesn’t do anything for me.

I am using the latest version of this plugin.

How to get the Rockstar features back? Please advise.

ps. Not including a link with this post since the problem is in WP admin.

    click and save?
or can you at least provide an example of what characters you used so we can recreate the problem on our end?

Thank you, click and save worked!

There were three slashes in front of quotation marks in the link code. I removed them, saved and they have not re-appeared. Case closed!
