Escaped Comments… Why?

  • Does anyone know why this would happen and also how to fix it?

    When you comment on something, and for some reason the application fails to post your comment (ie, missing e-mail or bad capta), the anything that is escaped in the comment is returned in it’s escaped form.

    Ie, when you put a ” or a ‘ , it would return a \” or a \’ respectively.

    When you go to post it again, the script leaves these escape sequences in, so your final post ends up showing a \” when you only wanted a “.
