5 Questions to see if the platform can work for me:
    1. What are the ways(example) the customers can add credit to their wallets?
    2. Is there an escrow feature or how long does the payment stay pending when a customer pays the merchant? I need the funds to stay pending until the customer (employer) says the service they have received from the freelancer has been received.
    3. Do I get to set commission percentage for me as the merchant on all transactions?
    4. Does it matter which country the customers bank account is in for withdrawals?
    5. Can customers send money to each other’s wallets using their usernames instead of emails? I don’t want them to have each other’s emails?

  • Hello,

    1. What are the ways(example) the customers can add credit to their wallets?
-> Customer can add the amount to the wallet by recharging the wallet through order placement. Customers can add a balance to another customer’s wallets by wallet transfer but it will debit the amount from his/her wallet and credit amount to another customer’s wallet.
Admin can also credit the wallet of customers through the plugin backend section.

    2. Is there an escrow feature or how long does the payment stay pending when a customer pays the merchant? I need the funds to stay pending until the customer (employer) says the service they have received from the freelancer has been received.
-> Wallet is credit through order only when the status of the order is completed by the admin.

    3. Do I get to set commission percentage for me as the merchant on all transactions?
-> We do not provide this functionality of commission in our plugin. If you are using some marketplace then please let us know because right now our plugin is compatible with WCMP only as Our wallet plugin only recharge, credit, debit, transfer the wallet amount and use the wallet as the payment gateway for order placement and as a discount.

    4. Does it matter which country the customer’s bank account is in for withdrawals?
-> We only get the customer’s bank details in the withdrawal request, if you can recharge the wallet through a particular bank account using any payment method, then admin can pay to the merchant through a particular bank account. Withdrawal request only gets the details of the customer, admin has to manually pay the withdrawal amount to the customer through the details.

    5. Can customers send money to each other’s wallets using their usernames instead of emails? I don’t want them to have each other’s emails?
-> No, currently our plugin does not use a username for transferring wallet amounts. It will only use emails to transfer the wallet amount from one person to another.

    Thank you
