I am having a problem with eshop.

When a customer goes to purchase a product and checks out it sends them to paypal (Working correctly). if the customer was to close the paypal window then try to repurchase the same items the proceed to checkout button will now just reload the checkout page and stop sending them to paypal.

Clearing the cache on customers browser fixes the problem.

So now if a person buys a product and wants to come back to purchase another item they cannot without deleting their cache.

Not sure how to fix this issue any help is appreciated

This is only an issue if they don’t close their browser. Frankly, I don’t see what the plugin can do about this. If the user doesn’t return to the site, the plugin cannot clear their session data.

I am kind of confused with your response.

After closing my browser and trying again I have the same issue.

We can’t replicate your issue here. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme.

    Did both, same issue
    website is jerseyswagger.com
    duplicating issue is simple
add product to card proceed to checkout get to the paypal window then close window.

Then proceed to purchase another product.

So now you are saying that users don’t purchase any products but just close the PayPal window?

I did mention that in my first post but I am concerned that if they were to purchase an item that they would not be able to purchase anything else.

We have tested the plugin extensively over it’s four year life and I can assure you that people can come back and re-purchase items or purchase new items.

so lets say, a person gets all the way to checkout and decides.. you know what I am gonna wait to purchase this (I have done this), closes all windows and comes back the next day.

With this problem, that person would not be able to purchase anything without clearing their cache first.

As I’ve said, we can’t replicate this. We follow the process you describe above all of the time when testing the plugin or some of our own themes and we’ve never encountered this issue before.

you can feel free to replicate it on my site.

I am looking to figure out what could be causing this

If you are seeing this issue, then it would seem to be specific to your site. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

I tried all of your suggestions with no luck.

I’m sorry but we can’t help with this. We cannot replicate the problem. As far as we can tell, it’s specific to your site. Do you have another site on a different server using eShop?

    (@toeknee32)

I do not have any additional sites using eShop, I mat uninstall and reinstall the plugin though

Reinstalling did not fix this issue,

    Others with same problem
