This thread has help me to. I use WP3 but there is no Featured Image widget on the right hand side. Is this normal? I can remember seeing it before before but since then I’ve updated WP and eShop.

Would be ideal if something was in the products page to do this quickly as thats a good place to spot products without Featured Images assigned.

I’ve enabled the featured image via the plugin, so i see no reason why it shouldn’t be there. Can you check the screen options tab and ensure you haven’t hidden it.

I have the same problem, where all of my thumbnails are showing up as little baskets. Only the main thumbnail works (on featured page), but not on the shopping cart page, and not in the sidebar widget. I’ve been working on this for 3 hours and tried everything in the eStore timthumb troubleshooting guide (the theme i’m using your plugin with), and even hostgator can’t help me. Do you have any tips? Thanks!

To clarify, the timthumb.php script is resizing the images, since the estore/cache folder is being populated with resized images. However, the eshop plugin doesn’t seem to be grabbing and displaying those images properly.

I think it might have to do with the “S” being capitalized in eStore, since when i try to view the cached image with the direct path with the wrong capitalization, it doesn’t show, but when i use the capital “S”, it shows in my browser. What do you think?

But you are aware that eShop doesn’t use those images, the only images it uses are the ones you set via the featured image functionality of WordPress.

Thanks, Rich! Now the thumbnails show up. ?? I thought I was setting the featured image before, but because I was trying to do it by URL I was just clicking Insert Into Post, because the Set Featured Image link is only visible if you upload the photo directly.

What I’m trying to figure out now is how to set the featured image automatically. I’m working on synchronizing in-store and online inventory, so posts/products generated automatically with prices, image URLs, etc. and then the images are uploaded separately. The image URL in the generated post corresponds with the image name that was just uploaded, so it all works well. Except for the featured image. I’ve been working on figuring out how to set the featured image automatically when the post is created. Do you think I could connect the eshop thumbnail feature to Get The Image plugin instead of the WordPress Featured Images? The WP featured images seem quite complex and I don’t know how I could replicate all the data generated in the wp_post_meta table when an uploaded image is set as the featured image.

Can someone help me IN WORDPRESS FOR DUMMIES FORMAT. I click on my link to choose individual memberships and the products to choose do not show up. It was working just fine for a long time. I am not IT but have been left with this job. I am loosing money at this point.
