• I just setup WordPress with one of my other domains, https://www.rootedup.net. I am hosting it as an Add-On domain to my account that was created for https://www.rootedup.com and have spent the afternoon uploading wordpress-2.8.6, wp-easy-uploader, and eshop zip files to the correct folders in cPanel File Manager (probably T.M.I, but hopefully gives you an idea of where I am at, and what I know).

I created a new post and assigned all the correct fields to create a downloadable file for $10. When I view the page I can click on the poast title and am then able to add the file to my cart and proceed to checkout.

My problem is that when I click on the Products Page I don’t see this item listed there…?

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

are you using a shortcode on the products page? if so which one.

was the product attached to a post or a page?

I’m not sure what a shortcode is, and yes the only way to create a product is by creating a new post. You can see this by going to https://www.rootedup.net and looking at the one and only post, and see that the product doesn’t appear on the products page.

well eshop products wouldn’t appear on that page, that page is from another plugin.

for shortcodes, go check the help page within the plugin.

I figured it out. I needed to go to the Products Page in the admin and it allows you to create products from there. It is confusing because creating a new post allows you to do this also. The eShop is the only plugin I have activated (however I do have WP E Commerce installed, but not active). Thank you.

you have issues with your site. Products for eshop can only be created via the product entry section of a post/page.

any pointers on how to resolve these issues?

nevermind, I’ve decided eShop is crap, and I’m using and liking WP-e-commerce much better.
