ESI Block on Woocommerce Prices

    Hi there,

    im having trouble to understand on how to set up an esi block for prices. I have a Store with different prices, sometimes per user, so i thought ESI is the only way to solve this. But how to i set the pricing in woocommerce Archive and on product page into an ESI block, so everyhting is cached but the price? is there a tutorial or something?

    Hi,

    it’s bit of complicated to use ESI to do that , it require some coding to your theme , example ESI code here

    if your price is based on user , then vary group with private cache should be easier solution

    thanks for your reply.
    i have group prices but also user specifc prices. when i use the vary Group option, the user spicific prices will not be displayed, if they vary from the group price. Correct?

    if i use the vary prices, do i have to set Private Cache OFF?

    Hi,

    you mean you have different users from same group that has different price ?

    private cache will be privatized per individual user , it should work , even for same group , different user with different price

    correct.

    so for best results i need to active private cache as well as ESI? and make changes to the numbers for vary groups AND let the groups be crawled?

    Or do i not have to activate ESI for Vary Groups?

    please try ESI OFF + Priv cache ON , this should be enough
