    Hi,
thank you for this awesome plugin.

I have a problem with Essential Grid, it works when I untick the JS optimization or when I force JS in head (though this is surprising since I set EGrid to put JS on footer). Both solutions are not optimal. I tried to exclude the plugin then all the JS scripts I found in the plugin public folder and it doesn’t work.
    Any Idea ?

2 grids are positioned in the lower part of the page (not showing).

    hmm .. when comparing your site with the version with AO disabled (with ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL), I don’t see a difference really. there’s a JS error in both cases;

Empty string passed to getElementById(). jquery.js:2:24487

    without AO vs

Empty string passed to getElementById(). autoptimize_d277f438ad41de22fda6483716a7db59.js:2:24487

    with AO

might be unrelated to your essential grid though.

Anyway; might be easier if could you take a screenshot (and upload it somewhere) of should be seen if essential grid is active?

    Hi Franck,
    Thanks for your answer.
Wondering what screenshot I have to take. To show the grid I have to untick AO js optim.

untick AO JS optimization, take screenshot of grid, re-enable JS optimization? ??

    Ok here’s a link https://tinypic.com/r/20zqm2o/9

I know why you didin’t see any difference, it’s because I modified the categories this PM hence the Grid had nothing to show.

    that, indeed, explains ??

OK, the problem is essential grid requires (demands) at least jQuery to be loaded in the head. this explains why “force into head” makes it work. alternatively you could simply add jquery.js to the comma-seperated JS optimization exclusion list.

    hope this helps,

    Thank you Franck it works

Hey there Frank. I was having a similar problem then i found this topic, i hope you can also help me.

I’ve use some codes in my sites header.php to force .js files work in footer because the pagespeed was really slow now its perfect. But according to that action, now the essential grid is not working in pages. It’s working when Im editing in preview mode but not in pages.

I had the same problem with revolution slider plugin and I basically check JS to Footer “On” and it worked.

Now I’ve tryed the same thing with essential grid and checked the box “ON” but its totaly eating my page. Nothing is working. If I dont tick it, everything is working on a page but not essential grid. What should I do about this ?

well, you’re not using autoptimize oguzyatagan92, afraid this is out of my area of expertise ??

but actually it’s simple, you should not touch jquery.js (that one needs to be in head).
