Essential Grid

Hi, @onlineatwork.

What can be happening is that the Essential Grid works with thumbnails. Once working with external images, it get lost. Some themes uses php functions that aren’t flexible enough to work with external URLs and the plugins can have the same problem. But I’m not sure about that because I don’t know the plugin. Maybe you can get my email in the settings and send me a copy.

About the alternative solution, Featured Image From URL already have a Custom Field: “fifu_image_url”. Try to use that and let me know what happens. :]

I′ve something notived:

If i deactivate the Setting “This Plugin Doesn’t Work, Man!” in FIFURL, the posts does not have any feture picture. So i think the hole Theme is not compatible with the FIFURL.

Could you check that out ?

I′ve tryed to use the fifu_image_url and set Essential grid to alternate images, but nothing happens.

Try to replace temporarily “Elegant Themes, Extra” for another one, please. There are a list of compatible themes in the plugin settings.

It will help us to identify the problem.

Our theme only seems to work (without Essential Grid) with the “This Plugin Doesn’t Work, Man!” setting turned on.

We need those gallery post pictures with external images, imported with you plugin.

We would go Pro if you could check the theme and settings, to get this thing done ??
