Esther Theme: Fatal Error: Blog inaccessible

    I installed Esther theme on WP 2.7 and have this fatal error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_custom_image_header() in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\clpoa.org\httpdocs\WPBlog\wp-content\themes\esther\functions.php on line 42

    I deleted the folder from wp-themes.
    then no page loads.
    I reloaded by unzipping it into /WPBlog/wp-themes directory

    the default theme does not come.
    Pls help.
    I tried clearing by cache.
    I tried to access the wp-admin.php
    White page loads or the error loads if theme is present.
