Estimated delivery time does not appear

Good afternoon.
When entering the estimated delivery time on the order page, it does not appear on the tracking page. Is this an error? Or does it only appear in emails?
Related to that, I have a question: Can the time be made a range and not a specific date? If so, how could I do it?
