I am using eStore theme and I am desperately trying to make it work with the eShop plugin.
My first and most annoying problem is that I cannot make the Add to Cart button of the theme to act like in this demo:
    https://www.elegantthemes.com/demo/?theme=eStore
(Please pick any product there and then click on “Add to Cart” button. You will notice a smooth slide displaying the product options and such).
My second problem is an error message I get when I test the Checkout process, after customer details are completed and he/she clicks on “Proceed to confirmation”: Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in ipg.******/subd/***ur/wp-content/plugins/eshop/cart-functions.php on line 1162
The installation of the plugin and the theme itself should have automated all styles, therefore I cannot explain this error. I must mention that I don’t have .html or .php knowledge, therefore I never touched the codes.
Please do not send me to the developer forums as there is nothing there, plus I cannot access Elegant Themes inside forums. I need a fix here, if possible.
    Thank you in advance!

I’m sorry but eShop does not support the Estore theme. As this is a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors: https://www.elegantthemes.com/forum/

esmi, with all due respect, the theme itself recommends eShop. And on the demo, the theme and plugin work beautifully… I cannot access ET forums.
But thank you for taking time to reply to my post. I know someone resolved this issue here, but he/she never posted how the problem was resolved…

The theme might do but unfortunately they never asked us – eShop’s developers – about it. We’ve never even been offered a look at the theme itself. Given that the theme appears to trying to do things with the plugin that it was never designed to do, we have never supported it and never will in the foreseeable future.

I see… that explains it. Thank you for the info. I will keep the thread opened for a while, maybe someone here knows a fix, or at least an alternate solution. Thank you once more for the reply.

I’ve just write to the theme supplier (I bought the entrance member for their themes) , if they’ll solve I’ll tell you. Thanks Esmi for your patience.

    hi Guys,

I got the same problem as Dakice had. Is there any solution you found?

    Please help.

    Thank you.

eShop does not support the Estore theme. Contact the theme’s developers.
