Getting several payments failed for subscriptions with generic square error:

    Invalid Token.

After refreshing user account the tokens appear and then disappear. Bug on Squares side with storing Etokens. Please fix.

How do you refresh an user token? Lots of us are running into this same issue. Please help!

You have to go to the WordPress User Page and just refresh the page there. If you do it 2-3 times the token appears under “Square tokens” on the user profile. You don’t have to hit save or anything after this, once the token/card appears you can try to retry payment via woocommerce edit order screen. This is for subscription payments but just wanted to specify in case anyone else is wondering.

    Hi there,

Having to refresh the user profile to see the token isn’t the expectation. I could not replicate this. If you’d like to help out, we could use the status report found under WooCommerce > Status > Get system report to see if we can replicate the site’s environment.

Feel free to remove any URL or other information from the status report that you would not like to be public.

    Thanks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
