EU – General data protection regulation – Check box?

Hi,

We’re aware of the GDPR and are working on making the plugin compliant with the new legislation.

We’re closely following the GPDR updates in core and will come up with a solution accordingly. Since nothing is final in core, we’re waiting for a more concrete roadmap before we implemenet anything.

We will, however, implement something before the deadline so that everyone’s compliant.

So as to your announcement, you are working on this GDPR stuff. Until this plugin update comes out, I’d like to have a question:

if I use EM free version, and I’d like to have a privacy policy checkbox in the EM form, should I by the pro version (as this has this additional feature), or should I wait for the plugin update, as GDPR compliant does not mean only an additional checkbox to add.?
