Euro '€' sign changed into '?' in email

  • Hi,

    In our emails (invoice/ confirmation etc.) the ‘€’ sign is changed in a ‘?’

    Strange thing, when I’ve a look with ’email tester’ plugin I see as normal the ‘€’ sign.

    Not sure, but looks like this is happen after automatically update of WordPress to version 4.5.3
    On my webshop is see the € sign normally.

    Anyone the same problem or an solution?

    It is possible that the font being used for your email or by your email client does not support the € symbol.

    Have you tried viewing the email in a few different email clients?

    @worksg Check the WooCommerce > System Status.
    Is the “Multibyte String” enabled?
    If not you need to enable it in your server.
