    Hi there,

I installed this Admin plugin. Instead of “€” it is showing “?€” everywhere. First I thought it would be a browser issue – but it is in the html code.

    Maybe you can fix it?

    Hi @mathias2010

I installed this Admin plugin. Instead of “€” it is showing “?€” everywhere. First I thought it would be a browser issue – but it is in the html code.

That’s odd. We would like to investigate this further to help you figure this out.

Do you see the problem with the ?€ symbol only in the WooCommerce > Dashboard section, and the WooCommerce > Orders section?
Or do you see it site-wide?

If you see it site-wide, does it go away after deactivating the WooCommerce Admin plugin?

    Let us know!

    Hi @harishanker

it only does appear in the analytics section and all of its subpages. Regular € symbols are shown on the dashboard > WooCommerce staus, WooCommerce admin pages (like orders), product pages and so on.

I am also having product vendors & germanized plugin running, which I classify as shop related. But deactivating them does not fix the € signs.

Is there any other information which I could provide to you?

    best regards!

Hi! I believe the next step here is conflict testing, which means testing to see if the issue is being caused by a code conflict between plugins or your theme. The best way to determine this is to:
    ?
    1. Update all your plugins and your theme to their latest versions and see if the problem fixes itself.
    2. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront (https://www.woocommerce.com/storefront/).
    3. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Admin.
    4. Repeat the action that is causing the problem.

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

We recommend doing this on a staging site, if possible. WP Staging (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/) is an easy way to create one if you don’t have one handy. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any further questions!

Hi, didn’t have had the time to reply. Euro symbols are still broken with all other plugins beeing deactivated

I have the exact same issue, the euro symbol shows as €
Only on the WooCommerce Dashboard and Analytics pages

    Hello,

since a few months I have the same problem, as reported above, when displaying the Euro sign, the string “?€” is displayed behind the numbers. Configured is the currency symbol “Right with free space”. The question mark is set instead of the space character, if I only change it to “Right”, “€” remains. This is as far as I can see

On the following pages the problem exists (backend only): Dashboard (exception: Leaderboards) and when I call up the list of orders via the button on the top right.

WooCommerce Germanized the only WooCommerce plugin is what I use for the shop. I have already written to their support but they tell me that they have no control over the area and probably WooCommerce itself is causing problems.

I have removed all external fonts, it’s just the standard fonts that come with WordPress, WooCommerce/Storefront.
All text documents are delivered by the web server as expected in UTF-8 encoding.

    With kind regards
