European Date Sort doesn't work in table edit

    European Date Sort works great in my web site but doesn’t work whilst editing the table. In table edit mode it sorts dates in US format up to day 12, then in text format for all days greater than 12. I wanted to sort the table in table edit mode on a date field and then save the table as I assume this will be the default order when the table is displayed on the web site.

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, the sorting on the “Edit” screen is very basic at the moment and does not have sophisticated features like support for different date formats.
    I do have ideas to make this better in a general overhaul of the “Edit” screen, but this will still take some time.
    Meanwhile, if sorting European dates on the “Edit” screen is important for you, I can only suggest to export your table to CSV, open that e.g. in Excel, do the sorting there and then re-import the file into TablePress.
