european date sorting of table in admin area

    dear tobias,

    first of all: thanks for this great plugin.

    we are using tablepress with the extension datatable sorting. everything works fine so far, only sorting of the table (with european dates) does not work in the admin area. is this supposed to work, or is it not possible? (i get no javascript errors or wordpress debug errors.)

    this is our site, but as i said, for the user everything works fine, only for us admins, it is a little bit complicated to move a new added link to the top.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The sorting algorithm in the admin area is a different (much simpler) one than that on the frontend, and it’s not influenced by the DataTables Sorting Extension.
    Because of that, it’s not possible to sort European dates on the “Edit” screen at the moment. Sorry.
    If that’s necessary for you, I suggest to e.g export the table to a CSV file, open that in Excel, sort there, and then re-import the table.
