Background:
We are a national motor organization that is divided into different sections throughout the country. We also have a couple of sections, such as racing and oldies.
We have a WP multisite setup were each district and section has their own subside and one is the overarching national, where all the members resides in.

Today we have a printed member metrical that is sent out to all members containing a lot of member information, sorted all different ways.
We are now looking for a solution that will facilitate more or less the same functionality online and one of the plugins we is evaluating is AMR User listing alternative, our developing vendor will code the solution for us.
We have just installed the free amr user listing plugin for evaluation in our dev environment and we have a couple of questions that I have not found answers to, if it is included out of the box (disclaimer I have just started to familiarize with the plug).

1. Each member have to give consent to have parts of their member data viewable and searchable by other logged in members and therefore we have added a checkbox (true/false) flag in the profile. Is there any way that in the frontend user listing, that flag would steer if a profile should be included in the result or not?
2. We need to be able to filter on custom metadata (all metadata have been picked up in the plugin) and also create different lists based on custom data, such as “roles within the organization” (not wp roles), does this require “amr users plus”?
3. Configurable user profile page where we can steer what data to display and how it will be stiled.
4. Role based data listing. Some roles should be able to see more profile data than the normal user (member) to be able to create reports.

Are above possible with the “amr users plus” or do we need additional plugins and or developemtn?

Hope for an initial swift reply as we are almost in dev start for our next version of the site.

re 3: User Profile pages usually done by your membership / forum software. If ust doing display, you can use a list and pass a parameter to make it look like aprofile page like here

re 4: I suppose you could create a list for each role? Although it sounds like you are talking about access to the lists. There is no access control by different list (ie were some users can see some lists and not others). Users can either see the lists or NOT see the lists. In the settings you can make lists ‘public’. If not public, only users with wp ‘list_users’ capability can see the lists. You could perhaps the membership plugin to control access to the page that a list is on, and restrict access to the back-end so that they cannot see all lists. I’ll note this a as a possible future feature.

Thank you for your swift and detailed answer.
I have forwarded this info to our software vendor that is building 1.1 version of our site.

For .4 Here we were thinking about showing more data and filter options in the same listing if you have a specific role. Yes, you can build a separate list and add that to a restricted page for now.

If I could have one thing on the wish list for christmas, then it would be that the uselisting would be responsive and not in a table is it is today.
We have build our new site, completely responsive and have that as a requirement going forward
