    Hi:

I’ve been surfing the web and did not find an answer. My problem:

The toolbar of TinyMCE Advanced only shows even size fonts (8, 10, 12…), but not the odd sizes (9, 11, 13…).

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

    M.

The font sizes can be set as an option for the TinyMCE editor. A more convenient way to do that would be by using the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/advanced-tinymce-configuration/ plugin.

Thanks, but when trying to install it returns this message:

“The Advanced TinyMCE Configuration plugin requires attention: you are running TinyMCE 4.0 (WordPress 3.9 or newer) but the settings for the editor have not been updated. This can result in errors while editing, or the editor may fail completely.”

    So I deactivated the plugin.

Hmmmm, have you used the Advanced TinyMCE Configuration plugin in the past. It should show that warning if it finds old settings from few years ago.

You can safely remove any previous settings if any, then add the font sizes fix.

    Thanks again.

I’ve uninstalled both plugins and reinstalled again (first TinyMCE Advanced and second Advanced TinyMCE Config). Same problem. FYI: I never used before Advanced TinyMCE Config, neither changed the original plugin. The just thing I’ve done is to customise toolbars and buttons (I do not write CSS).

However, I am using “Google Typography” plugin. I do not know if it can interfere.

If there are no settings in Advanced TinyMCE Config, that warning message shouldn’t show. It is intended to alert users to re-check their settings when upgrading to WP 3.8, (yeah, long time ago) as it included a new major version of TinyMCE. Will look into why it shows for no reason…

Just ignore it and add the font settings as described in the TinyMCE docs. The warning should disappear after you save the settings.
