I’m sorry to hear about the issue but since I don’t know the site (so no knowledge about its current configuration) and have no comparison with- and without Hummingbird, let me first ask some additional questions:
– what’s the PHP version powering the site?
– is everything (WordPress core, all the plugins and active theme) up to date?
– are you using any other optimization (as in JS and/or CSS optimization but also any kind of caching) plugins/tools on site at the same time? if yes, what are they?
– did the site get noticeably slower in that sense that you can really see it loading slower as a visitor or this difference isn’t noticeable but performance tests (like e.g. PageSpeed) are giving significantly worse score?
– aside from installing and enabling Hummingbird – which of its options did you configure (e.g. Page Cache? Asset Optimization? – if Asset Optimization, was it set to automatic mode?)
