    Hi @exord

    I hope you’re well today!

I’m sorry to hear about the issue but since I don’t know the site (so no knowledge about its current configuration) and have no comparison with- and without Hummingbird, let me first ask some additional questions:

    – what’s the PHP version powering the site?

    – is everything (WordPress core, all the plugins and active theme) up to date?

    – are you using any other optimization (as in JS and/or CSS optimization but also any kind of caching) plugins/tools on site at the same time? if yes, what are they?

    – did the site get noticeably slower in that sense that you can really see it loading slower as a visitor or this difference isn’t noticeable but performance tests (like e.g. PageSpeed) are giving significantly worse score?

    – aside from installing and enabling Hummingbird – which of its options did you configure (e.g. Page Cache? Asset Optimization? – if Asset Optimization, was it set to automatic mode?)

    Let us know, please.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

    – what’s the PHP version powering the site?
    7.4.28

    – is everything (WordPress core, all the plugins and active theme) up to date? Yes

    – are you using any other optimization (as in JS and/or CSS optimization but also any kind of caching) plugins/tools on site at the same time? if yes, what are they?
No did in the past with JetPack Boost

    – did the site get noticeably slower in that sense that you can really see it loading slower as a visitor or this difference isn’t noticeable but performance tests (like e.g. PageSpeed) are giving significantly worse score?
Yes the site is slower Than before

    – aside from installing and enabling Hummingbird – which of its options did you configure (e.g. Page Cache? Asset Optimization? – if Asset Optimization, was it set to automatic mode?)
All the recommondations but not really sure if I did it correct.

I could give you access to the backend if you like to see.
Thank you so much for your help!

    Regards,
    Martijn

    Hi @exord

    Thank you for the information.

I checked your page but I don’t see the Assets Optimization enabled and Caching working.

Can you please navigate to WordPress > Hummingbird > Caching and verify if the number of pages cached will increase or keep in 0?

If it increases more than 0, can you keep following the page and make a couple of refreshes to verify it won’t clear the caches and down to 0 again by itself?

In case the number of cached pages is not increasing, please enable the debug mode and share the log using Google Drive:

    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/hummingbird/#enable-debug-log

Regarding plugin configuration, you can find a guide on: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/hummingbird/#optimization-guide

Let us know the result you got.
    Best Regards
