    Hi,

I am designing my wordpress site using the design “veryplaintext”. I want all the wordpress advertisement-looking stuff removed. How do I do that?

How can I make a simple design without using this design? I want to decide myself where to put the text and the images. How do I do that?

    Thanks,
    Marianne

    look in your theme’s
    footer.php
to remove the wordpress and theme stuff

    look in
    sidebar.php
to remove log in stuff and maybe other things you don’t like

Use text widgets for blocks of text and pictures. And anchor the posts you like the look of.
