Event author not changed properly ?

    I created a specific user with subscriber role to use for event submissions. Now I’m getting submits.

    I then edit the submitted content, change the author (so I own it) and publish the suggested event.

    In the WordPress admin, it says I am the author, but when I log in as the specific event user and go to the submit form, I can still see all previously submitted events, even though the author was changed in WordPress Admin.

  • Can I know where did you see all the previous submitted events? I tried this one and seems to be working fine.

    I just tested this out. I’m not getting this problem. Can you try with other plugins (or your theme) temprarily disabled, or maybe have you made changes to EM or added any hooks that could be causing this problem?

    Also, could it be a caching problem?

    it’s all very standard…

    caching is def. not the issue…

    how about temporarily disabling other plugins or themes? or some screenshots for us to see of what you are seeing?

    the site runs on twentytwelve template, so I hardly doubt there’s something wrong there…

    I remember you’ve had some other wierd problems in the past r.e. tags that I couldn’t reproduce, could it be that this is all on the same server by any chance?

    Since you’re also a pro customer, feel free to send me some connection info via the pro forums (add a link to this page pls) and I’ll take a look . doesn’t matter if it’s not the site the license belongs to, i’ll take a look anyway

    Yes they are on the same server… but I feel a bit ‘ashamed’ now, because I can’t reproduce it anymore…

    I did find an image showing one upcoming event even though the user was changed: https://i.imgur.com/eg9BHIx.jpg

    Maybe it was a small thing which got unknowingly fixed with the last update, because I wrote the post above at Jan. 23 (looking at the image file name, which includes a date) as a note/reminder but didn’t get around to posting it…

    Will mark it resolved for now…
