    Let me further explain eilvbell’s request. In most cases, we can help troubleshoot by offering solutions that either have come up before or are able to be solved simply by using the frontend to determine the problem. In this specific case, there has not been any reports in the past about the calendar page just flat out not working. On top of that, since the page is not working, there is no frontend output to draw conclusions from.

    Because these two normal routes of troubleshooting are blocked, eilvbell jumped to our next logical step, temporary access to your admin, so that we may do some advanced troubleshooting from within the system. Usually this involves checking that all the normal settings are in line, verifying that events have been setup following our instructional videos, and validating that no other plugins could be causing the problem. On a rare occasion, we temporarily install some debugger plugins that help track down any problems, but those are removed shortly after we gather the needed information.

    Historically, most problems can be resolved fairly quickly once we reach this point in the troubleshooting. There have been many instances in the forums to this point where we have been granted this temporary access, and the issue has been quickly resolved or spawned a change that was in the next release which quickly resolves it.

    Hopefully this clarifies that eilvbell’s request was not just the goto resolution process. We are more than willing to help out, but in your case our normal first steps are not available, so this leave little other option.
