• I hope this is the right forum for this question.
We use Eventkeeper for our calendar events. When I plug in the feed from EK into an RSS Feed widget, the newest events display on top with the oldest on the bottom. What we want is the most current on top.
Both EK and a colleague say the WordPress widget “flips” the feed.
If so, is there a plug in which would correct this?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I am still seeking answers to this question.
We use Eventkeeper and when you click on the RSS feed button, the feed shows in the right chronological order: most current events on top.
However, when I use a RSS widget for the feed, it displays the current listing on the bottom of the list.
So in essence, WordPress “flips” the order! is there a fix for this?
Maybe a plug in? I have looked but there are quite a few and if someone knew a good fix, I would greatly appreciate it!
    Thank you!

    Bump!

I’m having the same issue. I’m trying to import an RSS feed of an event calendar. This feed uses the post date for the date of the event. So, I need to have WP’s native RSS widget display posts chronologically. If I could change the way the feed works I would, but this is an institutional client who doesn’t want me messing with much.

Like scbabb, I’d go with a plugin if I could find one that did this.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    To jomccartin,
WP wasn’t any help but go to https://feed2js.org/
There you can create an RSS feed to your specifications and satisfaction. We now have our event feed displaying with most current information on the top!
