Event Calender breaks slider if included in blog loop

Our site is HonestBlue.com and we are wanting to get the paid plugin so we are testing this free one out, but when we set it to include in blog loop, our slider disappears from the main page. AND it disappears even though we didn’t actually post anything. We just check that box and POOF. Slider gone. Uncheck – and back! I’m not sure what the conflict could be.
