Event Categories + Google Soft 404 Errors

    I have several event categories set up and I just got an error form Google console that 1 is generating a Soft 404 error. What is the best and easiest way to fix this Soft 404 issue with event categories? Should I turn off “Allow search engines to show this Category in search results?” in Yoast’s SEO settings for all categories? And will this be enough to stop these error? Do I have to do soething to my sitemap?

    Hi @koolkatdesign,

    Sorry for the delay in response. If the error is in relation to one specific page, it’s best to redirect the page using your Yoast plugin’s redirect feature, and perhaps redirect that particular page to your home page, or another page you deem more appropriate.
