Event custom post type being used already

    Hi, I tried adding the plugin but the site is already using the custom post type “events” those go missing when I activate Event Organiser. It would be a fair amount of work to move those and that stuff is all indexed etc. I see a spot to edit permalinks for Event Organiser but is that adequate to change the slug etc. WE just purchased the ical extension but the question doesn’t apply there, so posting here. Thanks

  • Changing the permalinks is the solution for this situation. I do that all the time so you should be fine. After changing the EO permalinks, you may need to go to the WP permalinks and hit save the changes there too so the .htaccess is refreshed with the EO changes.
