    Howdy sbuzz18,

That is fair. The trouble is that the email you are receiving is from WooCommerce and it is for generic products, not events themselves. It is simply telling you of a recent purchase on your store.

I do have a snippet which adds the event start date to the product title in that email: https://pastebin.com/J0XzSxTz It could be modified to include other details if you’re keen to do so. Fair warning, if you also have PRO and recurring events, this snippet shows the start date of the first event in the series not necessarily the one purchased. It’s an unfortunate limitation that can not be worked past until we fundamentally change some things about our plugin.

    Cheers!

Bummer… looking for a solution for this and stumbled upon this thread.

I really need a way to include the event details in the order notification (sent to me), in the WooCommerce > Orders > order in question, and on the receipt to the customer.

Anybody know of any way that we can make this a reality?

    Hi davemoppert,

I think Brook’s snippet should give you the basic outline for making that happen. It already includes the product title, but can be modified to also include other details, which you can get from reviewing our documentation.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
