    Hello there

I am using Events Calendar Pro along with Event Ticket Plus plugin to create a seminar system on my website.

I am using Elementor Pro to build my website and I want to create a custom landing page with information for a Seminar/Event using Elementor Pro.

When I go to Settings –> Display and select Elementor Full width, it start showing a messy layout with a sidebar and I don’t get to edit the event using Elementor.

How can I create a event details page using Elementor Builder and using Elementor Full Width Template to show information related to an event at different places of the landing page?

I have also tried to remove everything from single-event.php template by adding it in a child theme, but as soon I remove everything from the template except the_content method, it stops showing elements from Elementor Event Widget too.

    Looking forward to your help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @devidev1

    Thank you for reaching out.

I have some good news for you. We recently improved our Elementor support as part of our the Events Calendar Pro plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/native-elementor-widgets-for-events-calendar-pro/

Full disclosure, there is still one component missing for complete integration: using the awesome power of Elementor for the Event single view. That’s something that we’ll be tackling very soon.

In the meantime, based on what you are trying to achieve, I would recommend the following:

    • Grab a copy of our Pro plugin
    • Keep the default Events Template under Events > Settings > Display
    • Create your landing page using with a normal WordPress page edited with Elementor
    • Use the page template of your choice there. I personally like the Elementor canvas one.
    • Use the Native Elementor Event widget

This works because the native Elementor Event widget allows you to select a specific event, but more importantly, you can have several instances of that widget on any page.

And since each of these widgets allows you to control what is displayed, I believe you will be able to achieve your goal (display info about the event in different spots of the page).

To be fair, this is a bit hacky, but it will work until we release the last component of our Elementor compatibility.

    I hope this helps,
    Geoff

Hi Geoff, thanks for your help!

If I create a separate event details page, how can I link it with my Event? so if I click on event it should go to my landing page instead of going to its own event details page?

I assume we have to use Redirection plugin for that.

@geoffbel, just tagged you so you get the notification lol.

    Hey @devidev1

If I understand what you are trying to do correctly, you might want to try the following extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/make-event-titles-link-to-the-event-website-url/

    Cheers,
    Geoff

Thanks @geoffbel, I have created a new page using Elementor Pro. I have imported Event Widget thrice on the same page to show title, image and tickets at different places.

I see that the Ticket button “Get Tickets” has stopped working. Here is my page link:

    Hi there!

“Get Tickets” button not working is almost always caused by a caching plugin, like WP Optimize, or Page Optimize.
