    Bad idea to disallow access to the plugins folder. There might be css or javascript that Google needs to render the page. Google is not going to reward you if they won’t get access.

    Here is just one example where it’s written that it’s a bad idea. https://yoast.com/wordpress-robots-txt-example/

    I don’t think ga4wpjs.js is actually on your server. When I go to the file directly I also get an 404. I think something went wrong during the last install.

    I updated Reduce Bounce Rate from 4.2.0 to 4.3.0 on January 21. No errors in Search Console. Just updated to 4.3.1 and visiting the website myself doesn’t add any 404’s to 404 Error Logger’s log (= WordPress plugin).

    I wasn’t planning on updating robots.txt but indeed: Google should be able to render the pages so watch out with blocking CSS/JS like that.
