Event list code not working

  • I am new to Spiffy Calendar, however I have managed to get the mini calendar working in a page on my up and coming website but would like to show a list of events for the month showing. I have looked through the other postings but cannot find what code I need to add so I have the mini calendar with that months events listed underneath.

    These shortcodes are available:

    [spiffy-calendar] for the monthly calendar

    [spiffy-minical] for the mini version of the monthly calendar

    [spiffy-upcoming-list] for the upcoming events list

    [spiffy-todays-list] for the list of today’s events

    You configure the number of days for the upcoming list on the settings page.

    Many thanks Bev for the codes.
    When I use the upcoming events list, all I get is the photo that I attached to the event but no text explanation.
    What I am trying to achieve is the mini calendar with a list underneath showing 2 or 3 lines of text for each entry, if possible.

    You should see the event title and image. The top banner of the plugin page shows a screenshot of What’s Happening Today – this is the identical format to the upcoming events list. If you are not seeing the title there may be a problem with your CSS or some kind of conflict with your theme/plugins.

    Yes I can see the event title and image, what I also wanted to see but it is perhaps not an option with the plugin is a line of text alongside the image that gives a short event description.

    Sorry, there is no option to display the description in the upcoming events list at this time.
