EVENT LIST date and Match Day

    one main issue is the publishing date of match or event or calendar appears and it cannot be!!! only the match day should appear and first column!

    several issues with event list and also block:

    1 – block layout it appears the date of the publishing and then the match day. I just need the matchday on top

    2 – event block layout can I put instead of the date the calendar title? in portuguese we say “jornada 1…” , “jornada 2″…etc, and then the mach day. and replace the venue or simply eliminate it.

    2 – date and match day are the same…how can I just put the Match Day? I have tried columns=”date,event,teams,time,league,season,venue,Match Day”

    3 – calendar list layout. I need to see Matchday, home team (name, icon), result, away team (icon, name).

    final: is there a way to create tbs to put, results, rankings, fixtures, etc? do you think when seeing on mobile this will be good? i think its best to scroll on mobile…

    Hi there @catarinacat08 ,

    You can easily hide/show anything you want using the Settings at SportsPress->Settings.

    For example, if you want to hide Venue/Ground from your Event Blocks you can deselect Display Venue option from SportsPress->Settings->Events->Blocks https://snipboard.io/oBLVi1.jpg

    Alternatively you can copy the template you want to alter from wp-content/plugins/SportsPress/templates/ to wp-content/themes/your-child-theme/sportspress/ and then edit it as you like ??

    is there any filter or filter plugin that you recommend?

    Another issue is that event_details that I have on the accordion are not responsive.

    I have tried instead to put [event_blocks event=”443″] but the names of the clubs are not appearing and also a matchday/date of publishing issue.

    I have made some trials and activate/deactivate some options and I got this far…

    now… how can I put the home team name bellow the icon (same as away team) and and can I put match day on the first column and eliminate date column?

    how can I separate or jjust put some events on this list? I want to put the games together by weekend (jornadas)

    Hi @catarinacat08 ,

    To have both Home and Away Team’s Names below the icon you need to change the template event-list.php and specifically the lines 276-280 https://github.com/ThemeBoy/SportsPress/blob/dd67b78513f08f8532088534dd4303be9fa7c224/templates/event-list.php#L276-L280 so as to be both $name = $logo . ' ' . $name;

    To have your events separated by matchday/weekend you need some more custom code that is beyond the scope of these support forums. The event-list.php template is the file you need to edit ??
