    Hi!
On my webpage (starting page) I listed some events. This worked fine several months but now there are no events shown. Code is not changed (and works in other elements/pages):
    [ai1ec view=”stream” display_filters=”false” events_limit=”3″]
I think it must be a combination of new wordpress version, template, maybe other plugins/Visual composer.
Do you have any idea how to debug this?
    BR, Jens

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @jmeyerdo,

Does Stream view work on other pages?

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi @bsokic,

    thank you for your answer.
I tested it with a newly created page. Stream view does not work generally in fact:
    https://www.dav-dortmund.de/test-calendar-stream/

    Other view is working:
    https://www.dav-dortmund.de/kalender/

Listing in widgets works fine also:

Your “Extended Views” addon is probably disabled, so you need to sign into Timely Network in your admin panel(plugin settings page) to continue to use the “Extended View” addon and its features. We are adding functionality and making performance improvements to our addons that will provide more value to our clients. This involves running some components of the addon features on our servers.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Thank you for your help! Now test-page is working fine.
But on starting page error still exists – string is shown instead of stream list.

Interesting effect: When opening startpage in “WP Bakery Visual Composer” the stream is generated.

    Hi Benjamin (@bsokic)!
Do you have any idea how to solve/debug this issue?
    BR, Jens

I see another issue on the calendar page, css is broken, please try: Dashboard -> Events -> Theme Options and hit Save Options.

    Hi Benjamin!
Thank you for your further help. I did this and checked some different colour settings: It seems that CSS is working (again)?!
Unfortunately starting page is still broken.

I made some more tests. Other views are not working also.
Crazy that with active editor the calendar is shown:

Have you tried disable Visual Composer, is the issue still there?

    (@jmeyerdo)

I tried with disabled plugin. But as complete page/template is based on this plugin the complete starting page is no longer working with plugin deactivated.

It’s possible that these two plugins do not work best with each other, please log into your Timely account and open a ticket by clicking on the Get Help link, or click here: https://dashboard.time.ly/account/get-help and we will continue there.

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi @bsokic,
thank you for your further help.
Yesterday I tried to use a workaround and added an own very simple plugin via shortcode. With this I noticed that this plugin was not recognized also.
So I re-opened my support request to template developer.
Together we figured out that in this special WP-text-block no shortcodes are working in general. We deleted WP-text and added a simple text area – and now everything is working.
Thank you for your kind help – but your plugin is absolutely guilt-free! ??
    BR, Jens

No problem Jens, I am glad you find a way through the issue ??

    Take care,
    Ben
