Event List Widget

  • Hi,

    My event widget is only showing events entered prior to a recent upgrade (to 2.1.1). Any new events are ignored.

    This was work fine up until a recent upgrade.

    Hi!

    What is the event status for the events that aren’t showing up? Do you have them as upcoming or as past events?

    All the events are scheduled future events.

    I can verify this, as well. Event lists are completely messed up under the new version of the plugin.

    You may want to look into whether you are using the “All” calendars option in the event widget. The “All” option appears to break any attempts at logical, chronological ordering of events.

    Ordering does work (on my team site, at least) if you explicitly use a named calendar, however. So what I did, was set up a special, bespoke calendar, drawing fixtures from the competitions/seasons I needed to use, and specified that to select from, instead.

    Thanks. Yes – I was using the “All” calendar. This used to work fine but now, not so much.

    I’ve changed it to use my own calendar (which selects all events), and this now works fine.
