  • I know for categories, tags, locations, etc. You use a negative (“-“) in front of the id-number to get a not.

So category=”-5″ or location=”-10″, but town is a text field and doesn’t have an id number. You could try town=”-ROME”, but I don’t think it will work

There could be a work around solution..
If you add a category.. for your events.
    Call it..
    “A Not Rome”
then you could exclude that category from your list..
    See search attributes..
    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/event-search-attributes/

In my little example above.. I added “A” to “Not Rome”..
that way it is on the top of your “categories” list when editing events and easy to find.

    good luck.

    Hello,

As other users have suggested, One way of doing this is to make a Category and put all events that are “NOT Rome” to that category and from your shortcode you could exclude that Category.

Thanks a lot guys, actually I was thinking about using categories, but I would have liked to achieve a completely automatic solution.
    Thank you very much. Mx.
