Event listing template failure after upgrade

  • Hello,
    After upgrade from 2.0.68 to any newer version the event listing template is not in use anymore – all the events are listed in different format that one we coded. Downgrading to 2.0.68 solves the problem. Is there anything we can do to prevent this from happening?

    This is not enough info to go on. The event listing (when using [eme_events]) has options to select a specific template for header/body/footer of the event list. If those are not used, generic options are being used.
    How are you using your [eme_events] shortcode? Check that out and start from there.

    Hello,

    Thanks for quick response. We are actually using the function eme_get_events_list within our template rather than the shortcode. We have just figured out this function got an extra “event_ids” param which was added in the middle (between other params) rather than at the end to assure backward compatibility. As a result all further arguments including the template ID just got shifted. We have adjusted our code and all looks fine now. Thanks!
