Event Manager – Email Settings – Server Error

    I have gone back and forth with my service provider to adjust permissions to use the PHP mail function to send notifications.

    We keep getting ‘Server Error’ in red with no description. Can’t send notifications… anyone have a similar problem and is there a fix?

    Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Is mail sending outside of Events Manager and WordPress working?

    Have you tried sending / testing using the other mailing options under Events > Settings > Emails > Email Settings > Mail sending method?

    also, maybe you can try to set SMTP as your mail sending method then use your gmail account just to rule-out any server issues.

    Thanks, tried all methods all gave the smae error. Then tried a scenario test and the emails seems to go through. Not sure why in settings was giving error. Ah well seems to work just fine. Thanks.
