Event manager suddenly not booking anymore

    Hi all,
    my 5.3.5 version of the plugin suddenly stop working.
    Everything seems ok but strange behaviours suddenly appeared.
    – Creating event: Sometimes the tickets are not inserted in the MySql table with no error. Simply you cannot find then after publishing the event
    – Booking: If you try to book a ticket an error araises: “La prenotazione non può essere: creata. C’è stato un problema durante il salvataggio della prenotazione”. It’s Italian and sounds like “Cannot create booking: There was a problem during the saving phase of the booking”.
    Nothing has been changed in the wp installation, the sites works since 2~3 year ago, and my wp version is still 3.4.1.
    Where can I find a version 5.3.5 bundle of the plugin to try to repeat the installation from scratch?
    I need to spend almost a week to make non-regressions-tests on others plugin in case of upgrading wp to the minimum requirement of the new version of event manager…

    I’m sorry to hear you’re running into these issues. Have you attempted to disable all active plugins, and run the default WP theme to see if the issue persists?

    Hi Jordan,
    I don’t mind it’s a matter of plugin itself or templates or whatever: The whole site, including event manager, run with absolutely no technical maintenance since 2013.
    I set it up for my team-mates (it’s my rugby team’s site) and nothing happened until Sep 29, 2017.
    Suddenly the plugin stopped working…
    I’m trying to debug the entire WP installation to check if something, not wp related, happened in the server.

    Someone knows about limitations applied to the community version of the plugin?

    One of the attempt made to recover the situation was to ‘truncate’ the data tables but I’m sure that the first event involved in the failures had the EVENT.ID > 100…
    All the events beyond the ID 100 worked regularly…

    Any idea?

    You may want to consider upgrading your copy of WordPress, as a version that old is a security risk and almost certainly has compatibility issues with plugins / themes.

    I’m considering upgrading WP but, as I already wrote, I need to plan a long activity of non-regression test because of plenty of plugin installed.
    I hope to make the site work until December next.
