Event meta data under post title

    Currently the Event meta data is contained in the grey box under the featured image. I’m not a fan of these boxes (details and the venue) so I’ve removed them from the template. I’ve also had to remove the meta date data from being visible on the post under the title because instead of showing the event date, it shows the date the page was imported using the plugin – very confusing for people visiting the site.

    Is it possible to have the Event meta data under post title (above the featured image) instead?

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    We are using theme’s default template to display single event page.you can also develop custom template according your requirement for event “single-eventbrite_events.php”.so you can develop custom template for that into your theme.

    Sadly this is your reply to nearly all queries. It’s very difficult to understand. Do you mean make a new template and name it “single-eventbrite_events.php”? Currently, there is no file with that name on my site.

    It maybe sounds like what I want to do would be very easy, just swapping the event meta data with the post meta data, but I don’t know where to do it, and you haven’t really said how to…

    If you want to change in event meta data then this information comes from event-meta.php file which is located into plugins\import-eventbrite-events\templates\event-meta.php. and if you want to change in post meta then you need to change in your single.php(theme default post format) file.And as i told you that you can make custom template by creating new single-eventbrite_events.php file in theme folder like as single.php file.
