Event-O-Matic 2.0 Features

If you are talking about the EOM’s plugin- this version will show upcoming events at one particular venue. Enter in the ID number of the venue you would like to show and click save. Find the ID number by looking at the venue listings in the EOM admin. Note this will be significantly altered in the new release.

I have to enter all the venues? I am doing this for a merchant organization, that has around fifty or so merchants, including restaurants, galleries, etc.

So I’d have to add several different widgets, one for each venue, regardless if it has an upcoming event?

I love that this is self submitted. I want merchants to submit their own events (I’ll create all the venues ahead of time), so all I have to do is approve them.

Can this be done?

I just did a test event and it automatically showed up on the Merchant Association Facebook page (because I integrated the blog with the account) so if I use this, the event automatically updates the Facebook Page.

The sidebar doesn’t have the functionality to show every event coming up at every venue – this functionality is reserved for the main [eom-listings] shortcode.

Is there somewhere I can see the sidebar in action? Mine still doesn’t work.
