Is there a way for the users to be able to filter to certain events based off of the criteria listed above too?

This is definitely what I would like for the backend. Is there a way to integrate with the frontend to allow users to change the search parameters or pull in the current user’s specific location and tailor the search to that?

What I am trying to get to is a search on the event’s page that allows the user to say “I want 10 events tomorrow that are within y miles of location x.” Is that something that would be able to occur from shortcodes or is that more of a .php addition?

This should be possible with shortcodes using the scope, near, near_unit and near_distance attributes:
